Founded by Andrew Rice, Kenai Productions has been creating broadcast quality video projects for large and small businesses since the year 2000. Combining in-house talent with the expertise of production partners, Kenai Productions is able to provide industry standard HD productions destined for Broadcast Television, Theatrical Release, DVD’s, and Internet distribution.
 
Andrew Rice – Co-Producer, Co-Director & Cinematographer/Editor
Andrew is a seasoned videographer and producer of documentaries and commercials for television and corporate businesses. He has worked on location with indigenous peoples documenting their lifestyle and culture. Recently, his work with the Sedona Now Network has been nominated for a 2008 Rocky Mountain Emmy in the “New Media Documentary/Historical/Cultural” category. This background, plus extensive production and post-production experience, enables him to produce concise, informative and entertaining video productions that are sensitive to native cultures. Post production editing, creation of motion graphics, and screening for Lost Rites will be conducted in Andrew’s digital editing studio on Maui.
 
David Whitney – Writer, Co-Producer & Co-Director
David Whitney is a Visual Artist, Published Writer and Production Coordinator. He has worked on over 100 film, television and theatrical productions, including Saturday Night Live, After School Specials, A&E Channel, Juilliard School of the Arts, and Ensemble Studio.  He has co-published an art and writing magazine and has written numerous articles and reviews on the arts, including an entertaining and informative series of interviews featuring international and Hawaiian artists and musicians.  He has lived in Hawaii for over 13 years, and has a unique understanding and connection with Polynesian Cultures. His friendship with Tavana gives him an intimate perspective on the Chief and his remarkable life.
 
Glenn Scarpelli – Production Consultant
Glenn Scarpelli has been in the entertainment business for 30 years. He began his career at age 8 as an actor debuting on Broadway in “Golda” staring Anne Bancroft. His next Broadway stint was with Al Pacino in “Richard lll”. His feature films include Peter Bogdonavich’s “They All Laughed” co-starring John Ritter and Audrey Hepburn’s. He also played a regular role of Alex on the hit CBS sitcom “One Day at a Time” starring Bonnie Franklin and Valerie Bertinelli. At age 18 Glenn enrolled in NYU film school to study film making operations. He then went on to become president of GKS Entertainment, a Los Angeles based digital mastering and editing facility. Clients included MCA, DreamWorks and RCA. Currently, Glenn resides in Sedona, Arizona, developing programming for the Sedona NOW Network, which he established with partner Jude Belanger.
 
Jude Bellanger – Production Consultant
Jude Belanger has been in the entertainment business for 20 years. He began by modeling in college to pay for his architectural degree from Wentworth. His modeling career took him throughout Europe and Japan where he walked the runways for fashion designers and later moved to New York City. There he was in numerous ad campaigns for Nabisco, Calvin Klein, Ron Chereskin and NY Magazine. He also performed on “All My Children” where he had the opportunity to apply his architectural talents to set design, and he found a passion for lighting and art direction. Later he worked for the renowned Neo-Classical Architect Juan Pablo Molyneaux, designing penthouses in Trump Towers and numerous other high-end residences. His talents all merged when partnering with Glenn Scarpelli to produce programming for the Sedona NOW Network. In addition to producing, directing, and writing, he often hosts segments that appear on Channel 18 as well as the Sedona NOW show on Channel 3.
